The role:
The role involves leading DevOps initiatives, optimizing infrastructure, and ensuring seamless software delivery through CI/CD pipelines and containerization. Emphasis on solution design, automation, security, and compliance in a dynamic mining environment.
Responsibilities:
- Innovative Solution Crafting: Collaborate closely with clients and internal teams to conceptualize and design DevOps solutions.
- Streamlined Infrastructure Automation: Engineer and deploy automation tools to streamline infrastructure provisioning and deployment.
- CI/CD Enhancement: Spearhead the enhancement and optimization of CI/CD pipelines for swift and dependable software delivery.
- Containerization Expertise: Implement cutting-edge containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes for agile and scalable applications.
- Robust Monitoring and Security: Establish robust monitoring systems and security measures to ensure system stability and compliance.
Key experience:
- Proficiency in automation/configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
- Strong scripting acumen in Python, Shell, or PowerShell.
- Demonstrated expertise with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD.
- Deep understanding of containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Desirable experience:
- Familiarity with concepts and technologies surrounding Edge Computing.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals and protocols.
