Our Federal Government Client is seeking a Software Developer!

This is a contract role until 30 June 2024, located in Canberra, ACT with flexible work-from-home options.

As the selected candidate, you will:

  • Develop, refactor, and improve existing software systems.
  • Update and test code and containers.
  • Liaise with developers, infrastructure specialists, and business users.

To be successful in this role you should have:

  • Experience in full-stack software design,development,and maintenance,including:
    • .NET C# web applications (MVC, SPA, unit/integration testing)
    • JavaScript frameworks (Angular, Vue.js)
    • SQL databases (MSSQL) and ORMs (Dapper, Entity Framework)
    • PowerShell scripting
  • Ability to troubleshoot, research, and solve technical problems.
  • Experience with software version control (Git, Azure DevOps) and CI/CD.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage priorities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

It is desirable if you have experience with:

  • MS Azure cloud services
  • Messaging, task scheduling, system monitoring, and telemetry
  • Application containerisation (Docker, Azure Container Registry)
  • Data transformation and delivery with SAS analytics software
