Job Title: Software Developer
Location: Canberra

Duration: 12 months with possible extension

Client is seeking Developers with significant experience with C-Sharp, a solid background in software engineering and experience implementing using or developing cyber security tools. The right candidate will mature the existing software engineering capability to continue delivering existing CMMP software to end users, and will be instrumental in developing new capability.

There is an expectation that successful candidates will work 5 days per week (estimated 40-hour week). On boarding is in Canberra, but some remote work from other locations may be possible subject to cultural fit.

The person will possess broad knowledge in:
* Software engineering concepts.
* Programming languages.
* Software build pipelines (e.g., CI/CD).
* Cloud IaaS services.
* Windows Operating System Security.
* System architecture.

The person will possess skills in:
* Best practice software engineering practices.
* Developing using the C-Sharp programming language.
* Using or developing Cyber security tools, Implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
* Writing basic user manuals and technical documentation.

The Senior Developer major responsibilities include:
* Ensuring that CMMP software products are delivered on-time and to specifications.
* Writing code to deliver the technical functionality.
* Ensuring that code is developed using best practice principles.
* Supporting CMMP members in using developed software products.
* Developing software engineering technical artefacts.


Essential:

  • Demonstrated understanding of best practice software engineering practices.
  • Experience in developing C-Sharp applications.
  • Experience in using or developing cyber security tooling.
  • Experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD solutions.
  • Experience in writing technical documentation.

Due to security clearance requirements for this role, candidates must be Australian citizens and must have Baseline Security clearance.
