Our Federal Government Client is seeking a Senior Server SOE Engineer.
This is an initial 15 months contrac , located at our client's Services Australia office in Canberra.
As the selected candidate, you will:
* Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager including SCCM.
* Strong technical knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy Management, RBAC, AppLocker, Server imaging.
* Strong Scripting ability (PowerShell, VBScript).
* Experience with facilitating large and enterprise-scale software deployments, including Vrealize automation.
* Maintenance, upgrades, and enhancements of environment-wide configurations including user policies, device policies, security policies, and automation scripts through enterprise-grade endpoint management platforms (SCCM).
* Perform upgrades on applicable hardware and operating systems as required/requested.
* Minimum of 3+ years' experience in SOE migrations, projects, and implementation.
To be successful in this role you should have:
* Minimum three plus years experience administering Microsoft related technologies in large complex organizations.
* Minimum three plus years experience as a Server Engineer in enterprise environments.
* Enterprise knowledge of Active Directory, Configuration Manager, server image deployment, VRealize automation, Applocker, Role-Based Application Control, Group Policy.
* Enterprise knowledge of packaging and deploying desktop applications via SCCM and Intune, Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager, Active Directory, Group Policy Management, RBAC, Applocker, WDAC, Autopilot.
* Experience with facilitating large and enterprise-scale software deployments, upgrades, and enhancements of environment-wide configurations including user policies, device policies, security policies, and automation scripts through enterprise-grade endpoint management platforms.
* Knowledge and understanding of the Essential 8 Maturity Model, mitigation strategies, and corresponding Information Security manual controls.
Due to security clearance requirements for this role, candidates must be Australian citizens with Negative Vetting Level 1 security clearance.
