Senior Modern Workplace Management Consultant
About the Role
Are you passionate about transforming workplace technology? Join us as a Workplace Technology Consultant and drive the evolution of our technology environment. You will play a crucial role in optimising laptop provisioning, enhancing meeting room technology, and maximising scanning and printing services.
Reporting to the Workplace Technology Manager, you will provide strategic guidance and senior-level support across various business units.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design & Implementation: Develop and maintain the Standard Operating Environment for workstations, mobile devices, and virtual desktops.
- Operational Excellence: Improve productivity and user experience through streamlined operational processes.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure technical solutions meet quality and cybersecurity standards.
- Technology Oversight: Manage Meeting Room and Printer technologies to meet performance and cost goals.
- Innovation: Research and implement new technologies to enhance user functionality, including developing technology roadmaps for stakeholders.
- Training & Support: Deliver training to boost team productivity with workplace technology platforms. Provide hands-on support to the IT team as needed.
- Project Management: Lead small projects and initiatives as required.
About You
- Experience: Extensive experience in a similar role, specialising in Microsoft technologies such as Active Directory, Defender, M365, MECM, Windows 10/11, Windows Virtual Desktop, Autopilot, and Intune.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Level 3 technical support with a knack for delivering effective solutions.
- Hardware Management: Skilled in selecting and managing hardware devices, including laptops, workstations, and mobile devices.
- Platform Knowledge: Familiarity with Microsoft platforms like Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive preferred. Experience with Microsoft Teams Rooms, Surface Hubs, or Cisco Webex devices a plus.
