Our client is seeking a skilled Java Software Developer to join their team, emphasizing a focus on Application Support and Maintenance (ASM) tasks.
- Develop and unit test code based on project specifications.
- Implement code in accordance with priorities and schedules agreed upon with the ASM Manager.
- Document and update documentation as requested by the ASM Manager.
- Support code promotion across the Environment Stack (DEV, TEST, SIT, PRODUCTION).
- Provide assistance for operational issues arising from deployed code/functionality.
- Offer Root Cause Analysis for identified issues during project testing.
- Expertise in Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
- Proficiency in Git and Java build systems (Maven, Gradle).
- Significant Docker containerization knowledge.
- Experience deploying applications to J2EE Application Containers (e.g., Websphere, Weblogic).
- Proficiency in JSF, RichFaces, and Struts frameworks.
- Knowledge of Continuous Integration, including configuring TeamCity builds.
- Experience in the integration space, particularly with Web Services and asynchronous messaging using JMS.
- SQL knowledge, especially with MS SQL (T-SQL, Stored Procedures).
- Ideal to have knowledge of XML-based Java persistence frameworks such as IBatis/MyBatis.
- Some experience with Azure is ideal.
- Hybrid working - 2/3 days in the office.
