About the role
Identity and Access Management (IAM) is vital for developing a world-class educational ICT network. It ensures secure access for staff, students, parents, and the community by integrating business processes, policies, and technologies. The IAM system connects with core departmental ICT applications to maintain appropriate access levels and a consistent user experience.
- The department is rolling out a Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) project for applications and users. This role will be a key part of the MFA project team.
The Identity and Access Management team needs a qualified IAM Specialist to manage our client's solution and transfer expertise to IAM staff for operational support.
Skills and Experience
- Vast experience with IAM and identity solutions
- Capable of implementing application federation and MFA configuration
- Experience with various protocols, including SAML, WSFED, OAuth, OIDC, and PING Access.
- Strong understanding of authorization components, including AD Authentication, forms-based authentication, custom authentication, and role providers.
- Strong understanding of identity management techniques, database, and web server components.
- Hands-on experience in migrating users, content, and security groups between IAM providers.
- Experience with Microsoft Entara ID (formerly Azure AD) solutions, including, but not limited to.
