Security Engineer

The Role:
As the Security Engineer you will need to provide professional services to existing and new clients in person, on the Telephone, email and meeting solution support to assist in better utilising their investment in the company's solutions. You will have opportunity to design solutions and can rely on design to come from senior Designers/architects but the engineer must be willing & able to grasp concepts quickly and be hands on in configuring and supporting network technologies at various levels
Skills & Experience:
Typically these role require degree level qualifications; the qualifications and experience will have provided you with a strong understanding of Networking and Security concepts such as;
- Networking Engineering basics
- Firewalls, IPS and WAF
- Enterprise class networking
- Enterprise class network management tools (Cisco, HP, IBM)
- Enterprise class security (End Point Security, Encryption, Compliance, Access Control)
You will have a good level of experience in one or more of these areas and will typically be working on IBM security technologies, particularly in the Identity Access Management and SIEM arenas.
