Job Title: Oracle Full Stack Senior Developer
Location: Canberra
Duration: 12 months with possible extension
Oracle Full Stack Senior Developers (EL1) engage in the design and the development of high-quality solutions in support of business and technical requirements. This role will be involved in solving highly complex problems. Oracle Full Stack Senior Developers (EL1) exercise a considerable degree of independence and undertake a technical leadership role, with work performed under the general guidance of senior staff. Oracle Full Stack Senior Developers (EL1) may be responsible for, and/or contribute to the management of a team.
Key duties may include, but are not limited to:
* Perform and manage analysis, design, development, prototyping, unit testing and maintenance activities.
* Solve highly complex problems and deliver high quality solutions.
* Perform high-level analysis of technical requirements to support project evaluation with proposed solutions.
* Undertake technical design and development of highly complex custom solutions, and/or standard conversion and migration solutions.
* Manage the release and ensure go-live production support and maintenance.
* Proactively share knowledge and expertise as the subject matter expert, and provide assistance and mentorship to less experienced staff.
* Primary Technologies required for role include:
* Oracle Forms and Reporting
* Oracle PLSQL
* Oracle Application Express (APEX)
* SmartIQ (Infinity/Intelledox)
* Unix tools (Korn Shell scripts, AWK)
Mandatory Criteria
* 5+ years' experience in Oracle technologies
* 5+ years' experience working with Oracle PL/SQL
* 2+ years' experience in Oracle Application Express (APEX)
* 5 + years' experience in Oracle Forms and Reporting.
Weighted Criteria
* Understanding and working experience with Geospatial data.
* Understanding of accounting concepts.
* Understanding and working experience of webservice development
* Understanding and working experience in SmartIQ (Infinity/Intelledox)
* Understanding and working experience in database modelling and design
