Network Engineer - CISCO ISE

  • Initial 3-month contract in the Perth CBD

About the company:

A leading, global mining client that has been established for over 100 years.

The role:

We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer - CISCO ISE for an initial 3 month contract for a global mining client based out in Perth CBD.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the creation and execution of Factory Acceptance Tests and Site Acceptance Tests for Cisco DNA Centre, Cisco ISE, and Cisco FMC.
  • Collaborate with a multi-functional engineering team on industrial network and control systems projects.
  • Work with Cisco Firewall and DNAC specialists to complete Low-Level Design, test documentation, commissioning work packs, disaster recovery plans, and client manuals.
  • Review design documentation and participate in workshops.
  • Deliver project deliverables in accordance with the Low-Level Design and scope of work.
  • Provide direction on network configuration settings for industrial switches.

Key experience:

  • Seeking strong commercial experience with Cisco ISE and Cisco DNA Centre
  • Demonstrated experience with design and deployment of Cisco ISE and Cisco DNA Centre.
  • Demonstrated experience with design and deployment of Cisco Trustsec, Scalable Group Tags and pxGrid.
  • Must have strong technical documentation skills
  • Must have Cisco CCNP minimum.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with demonstrated ability to determine requirements, set expectations, and educate internal and external stakeholders with regards to design and requirements


Desired:

  • Experience in the design, administration, or troubleshooting of industrial networks.
  • Knowledge of security zones and network/system integration requirements per IEC 62443.
  • Experience with Cisco Firewalls.
  • Background in working on large-scale or complex programs of work.
