Peoplebank are recruiting for an Integration Solution Architect (Technical Lead) to work on a long-term contract role, based in the Adelaide CBD.

(whilst hybrid working is OK, this is NOT a 100% remote role)

Joining this thriving company, as they embark on a digital transformation, you will play a vital role designing and delivering cutting-edge solutions that address complex business challenges. Indeed, you will be responsible for developing the new Integration Solution Architecture, ensuring successful integration of existing systems.


Primary responsibilities will include:

  • Solution Design: Collaborate with stakeholder organizations' business analysts, and development teams to understand the integration business requirements and translate them into robust and scalable technical solutions. Lead detailed technical design, estimating and technical development of the required integrations to their data systems.
  • Architecture Development: Create and maintain comprehensive architecture blueprints, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and standards. Assessing the systems architecture currently in place and working with the IT team to recommend solutions to enable the Future State.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring the successful implementation of solutions.
  • Technology Evaluation: Assess and evaluate emerging technologies and tools to recommend the most suitable solutions.
  • Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks and challenges in solution design and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
  • Client Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with clients, becoming a trusted advisor and working closely to understand their evolving needs and objectives.
  • Documentation: Produce high-quality technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, specifications, and guidelines, to ensure clear communication and knowledge sharing.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, and quality assurance engineers, to deliver exceptional solutions.


Skills and experience required:

  • Proven experience as a Solution Architect, with a track record of successful solution design and implementation.
  • Proficiency in architecture modeling tools and frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing (Azure), microservices architecture, and modern development methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Knowledge of security, privacy, and testing best practices.
  • Familiarity with relevant industry standards and practices.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, MS Azure Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus.
