About the role

Seeking ICT Infrastructure Specialists / Technical SMEs for hospital expansion program based in Southern suburbs of Brisbane.

The technical Subject Mater Expert (SME) will be required to provide expert advice and guidance to ensure the capital expansion program delivers the most possible benefits.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively manage and facilitate the design and implementation of digital infrastructure
  • Identify risks and issues and develop appropriate mitigation strategies
  • Scrutinise all digital infrastructure aspects of the designs, implementation and commissioning proposals
  • Develop documentation as required under the Project Deeds and maintain accurate record management systems

Skills and experience

  • Have experience in hospital development or expansion or refurbishment projects
  • Strong technical knowledge of one or more from following digital domains and solutions:
    • The design and commissioning of communications rooms, structured cabling, antenna systems, etc
    • Wired and wireless communication networks
    • Telephony and Messaging
    • End user computing (EUC)
    • Servers and storage
    • Audio Visual
    • Major medical and biomedical systems
  • Have excellent communication skills and be able to simplify complex technical matters
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
