Graduate IT Security Engineer
- Full time permanent opportunity based in Perth inner northern suburbs

- Australian citizenship and a clean National Police Clearance is essential because of the security clearances required for some contracts.
Our client is seeking motivated IT graduates and a passion for cyber and networking security to join our team as Junior Security Engineer. This entry-level position is ideal for university or TAFE graduates who are eager to learn, grow, and under the leadership of subject matter experts.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Senior Security Consultants on client sites, gaining valuable hands-on experience.
- Develop into a specialist consultant in Networking, Cybersecurity, or Infrastructure.
Qualification:
- Australian citizenship and willingness to gain an NV1 clearance.
- Bachelor's or Diploma in IT. Master's in Cyber Security is highly regarded.
- No prior work experience required, but must be willing to complete a technical assessment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with senior team members.
- Hands on networking, Linux, and Python from your studies is essential, with GITHUB links and project descriptions preferred.
