Job Title: EL1 Senior Desktop Standard Operating Environment Engineer
Location: Canberra/Open for Hybrid work
Duration: 12 months with possible extension
The Senior Desktop Standard Operating Environment Engineer describes the function which manages and maintains the client and shared partner agencies desktop Standard Operating Environments including design, configuration, deployment, technical security and operation of desktop related components.
The Senior Desktop Standard Operating Environment Engineer works under the limited direction of senior staff. They exercise both initiative and judgement in the interpretation of policy, and in the application of practices and procedures.
Primary Technologies
Windows Server, Windows Desktop, Applications Packager, Rapid 7, Broadcom Data Centre Security Engineer.
Key Tasks/Duties/Requirements
* Provide third level support for users and managed personal computing devices.
* Provide broad technical support for project build, test and solution deployment activities.
* Monitor, tune and maintain ICT software components and perform system testing.
* Liaise with the infrastructure team in the design, procurement and deployment of hardware and related assets.
* Schedule and perform regular maintenance and updating of supported products.
* Perform technical operations for ICT solutions.
* Maintain technical system information in service tools.
Essential Criteria
Minimum of 3+ years' experience in SOE migrations, projects, and implementation.
Due to security clearance requirements for this role, candidates must be Australian citizens and must have NV1 Security clearance.
