Our Federal Government Client is seeking an IT Data Modeller!

This is a long-term contract role with an initial duration of 10 months, with a possible extension of 2x12 months. The services will be performed by the Specified Personnel from the Canberra/Brisbane office. Minimum 3 full days per week in the office (or as applicable to your specific work order).

As the selected candidate, you will:

  • Deliver business solutions through Agile development practices.
  • Collaborate effectively within a diverse team.
  • Develop and maintain complex data models for enterprise data solutions.
  • Query and interpret data using SQL to provide expert advice.
  • Guide development of data requirements for projects.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Data Modeller.
  • Experience with Enterprise Data Warehouses (EDW) technologies.
  • Strong SQL skills for data analysis and problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Baseline security clearance.

It is desirable if you have:

  • Experience in data management design and documentation.
  • Experience with various database platforms (Oracle, SQL Server).
  • Knowledge of data vault modelling and XML schema design.
  • Understanding of data governance and data quality principles.
