About the role
One of our largest clients is seeking to engage several Data Engineers at various levels to play a key role in designing, building, and optimising data infrastructure that will underpin the evolution of the agency to become a data-driven Intelligent Enterprise.
This government agency will uplift 80+ resources across high profile projects.
This is for an initial engagement of 2 years with potential extension options, and you can be based at a number of their locations nationally (ACT, SA, VIC, NSW, QLD and WA).
Skills and experience
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, Scala, GSQL
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational and SQL databases.
- Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, etc.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Due to the security requirements, candidates must be Australian Citizens with an existing Baseline security clearance or higher in place.
