Data Engineer
- 6 months initial contract with potential extension

- Skills: Microsoft Azure tools - Synapse, Data Factory, SSIS, SQL
Our client is seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join their team. This individual will play a key role in designing and implementing data pipelines, optimizing data storage, and collaborating with teams to ensure efficient and reliable data solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop data pipelines and ETL processes using Azure data services.
- Implement and maintain data storage solutions on Azure, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyse data requirements.
- Optimize and monitor data solutions for performance and reliability.
- Stay updated with Azure technologies and best practices for continuous improvement of data processes.
Skills:
- Strong expertise in data mining and information retrieval to design, develop, optimise, and maintain data architecture and pipelines.
- Ability to coach members of the teams on achieving goals and developing necessary skills to get results.
- Expertise in Python programming and SQL.
- Skills in Power BI Dataflows, Power BI, Power Automate is desirable.
- Experience in Azure Functions. Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Pipelines highly desirable.
- Experience in Azure Functions and Azure Logic Apps is a plus.
