The role:
You will collaborate with internal and external teams to provide security advice, perform security risk assessment on technical design, and implement/uplift security controls with existing or new solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience in SIEM and Microsoft Sentinel.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop data encryption and data loss prevention standards and guidelines.
  • Review the security controls for structured data and unstructured data.
  • Perform a gap analysis against Zero Trust Network Access Level 1 compliance requirements.
  • Analyse security logs to identify the potential data security risks and provide pragmatic risk remediation recommendations.
  • Develop data driven reports and automated monitoring and alerting capabilities
  • Deliver technical documentations including but not limited to high level design, detailed level design, as-build document and BAU handover documents.

Skills and Experience:

  • 7+ years' experience in Cyber Security technical design or consultant roles
  • Hands-on experience in data engineering/operations
  • Strong understanding of security controls in data infrastructure
  • Experience with data analytical tools (PowerBI, Tableau) is highly desirable
  • Experience with data masking, data at rest encryption is highly desirable
  • Experience with Microsoft security products such as Sentinel is highly desirable
  • Strong understanding of data processing and orchestration
  • Highly skilled in analysis, problem solving, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
