The role:
You will collaborate with internal and external teams to provide security advice, perform security risk assessment on technical design, and implement/uplift security controls with existing or new solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience in SIEM and Microsoft Sentinel.
Responsibilities:
- Develop data encryption and data loss prevention standards and guidelines.
- Review the security controls for structured data and unstructured data.
- Perform a gap analysis against Zero Trust Network Access Level 1 compliance requirements.
- Analyse security logs to identify the potential data security risks and provide pragmatic risk remediation recommendations.
- Develop data driven reports and automated monitoring and alerting capabilities
- Deliver technical documentations including but not limited to high level design, detailed level design, as-build document and BAU handover documents.
Skills and Experience:
- 7+ years' experience in Cyber Security technical design or consultant roles
- Hands-on experience in data engineering/operations
- Strong understanding of security controls in data infrastructure
- Experience with data analytical tools (PowerBI, Tableau) is highly desirable
- Experience with data masking, data at rest encryption is highly desirable
- Experience with Microsoft security products such as Sentinel is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of data processing and orchestration
- Highly skilled in analysis, problem solving, and troubleshooting.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
