Our Federal Government Client is seeking a Customer Delivery Engineer.

This is a long-term contract role with an initial contract duration of 12 months, with potential for extension, located at our client's office with occasional travel to customer sites as required.

As the selected candidate, you will:

* Focus on customer engagements including plan, design, implementation, optimization, and automation services.

* Lead and own the technical engagement with customers, identifying problems and building the best solutions.

* Understand and review customer business requirements, translate them into technical requirements, and lead the design document creation, validation, deployment, and automation.

* Build and maintain deep relationships with customers, partners, and the extended Cisco delivery and account team members.

* Travel to customer sites as required.

To be successful in this role you should have:

* Bachelor of Engineering or Technology with a minimum of 8 years of experience in designing, deploying, operating, and leading scalable DC networks.

* Experience in Plan, Design & Implementation of large and complex solutions with a particular focus on ACI Multisite/Multipod, Next-Gen DC, Fabric Path, VXLAN & DCNM/NDFC.

* Experience in Cloud Solutions (AWS, Azure, Google).

* Working experience with HW/Platforms: Nexus Switches, Cisco ASR, IOS, IOS-XR, IOS-XE.

* Familiarity with DevOps principles and Cisco DevNet.

* Familiarity with Agile practices, software engineering.

* Ability to read and understand code/APIs, etc.

* Good working understanding of Unix/Linux.

* Awareness of third-party products/solutions in Network, DC, and related technologies.

Desirable criteria include:

* Experience in SDA, SDWAN, Campus Networking, DNA Center, Enterprise Wireless Solutions.

* CCIE (R&S/Enterprise/DC) Certification.

* Cloud Certification.

* AGSVA Clearance.

Due to security clearance requirements for this role, candidates must be Australian citizens with the ability to obtain and maintain AGSVA Clearance.
