About the Role:

The Cloud Engineer within the IT Project Technology Delivery Group is crucial for implementing critical infrastructure in a new renewable energy project, requiring a dynamic individual to tackle diverse challenges within a startup environment and collaborate closely with stakeholders and partners.

Responsibilities:

  • Deploying cutting-edge solutions for critical infrastructure, demonstrating a track record of operational resilience and adherence to regulatory mandates.
  • Integrating with Microsoft and Azure ecosystems, strengthening business services.
  • Establishing robust connections with industry giants like AWS, GCP, IBM, and OCI.
  • Creating secure environments for seamless remote access, prioritizing stringent authentication protocols for mobile and BYOD devices to safeguard sensitive business data.
  • Hands-on experience with intermediate troubleshooting skills in networking, infrastructure, operating systems, hypervisors, endpoint management, integration and managed file transfer services, backup and Active Directory services is required to respond and triage incidents and assess path for escalation to internal or external L3 experts.
  • Endpoint security controls, email and web security, firewalls, network detection and response, data tagging and leakage prevention, log management and SIEM/SOAR service, threat, and vulnerability management, along with new and emerging cloud native controls.
  • Expertise in cybersecurity, involving endpoint security, threat detection, and cloud-native controls, to uphold robust risk management practices.
  • Reviewing designs (HLD & DLD) and test plans, while managing defects and action plans.
  • Ensuring business continuity through effective incident management, minimizing disruptions and resource strains.

Skills and Experience:

  • Change management to optimize asset registers, CMDB, and service delivery.
  • Maintaining operational risk registers for all technology and cyber functions, spanning OT, IT, and cloud environments.
  • Conducting threat and risk assessments for emerging services, collaborating with stakeholders on risk mitigation.
  • Data governance standards to safeguard highly classified data, secure collaboration with internal and external parties.
  • Supporting and advancing IT, OT, and Cyber Programs of Work to meet business needs.
  • Fostering strong stakeholder engagement and management to drive project success.
  • Prior experience with industry standards and regulations such as ISO27001 & ISO27002, ISO31000, TOGAF / PMP, ASD Essential 8, IPART Licensing Conditions, SOCI Act and CIRMP AESCSF V2, Australian Privacy Principles / NDB, NIST CSF, CIS Controls, Mitre Att&ck, and more would be highly advantageous.
