One of our Government clients is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join their team for an initial 12 month contract.

The Business Analyst will be contributing to the organisation's delivery of projects and programs and will be responsible for supporting and planning the organisations Service Modernisation project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the business analyst capability in the Service Design & Transformation team
  • Collaborate effectively with organisations divisions and stakeholders to gather, validate and document business requirements
  • Consult with the project team and the business to drive development and delivery
  • Conduct analysis to identify gaps between as-is and future state procedures, systems and frameworks to inform work plan, business processes and policy development
  • Facilitate communication between the business and technical teams, translating technical jargon so it is easily understood by all
  • Participate in strategic engagement with key stakeholders to increase awareness and knowledge of project requirements
  • Work as an active member in a agile development team to deliver fit for purpose business outcomes

Key Skills and Experiences:

  • Strong experience as a Business Analysis within government sector
  • Demonstrated experience managing a diverse range of stakeholders
  • Experience supporting digital transformation projects, preferably in Dynamics365
  • A broad understanding of technical concepts and modern technology solutions
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and interactions skills

As this is a position within a Federal Government agency, the successful candidate must be an Australian Citizen and should hold or be eligible to obtain a Baseline Security Clearance.
