Our Federal Government Client is seeking an Azure IAM Cloud Engineer.
This is a long-term contract role with an initial contract duration of 12 months and the potential for two 12-month extensions, located at our client's offices in ACT, NSW, QLD, or VIC.
As the selected candidate, you will:
* Undertake configuration changes in the Azure PROD environment to support new entitlements management capability.
* Implement changes in the non-PROD Azure environment to support the development team. * Prepare, review, and execute SOPS for BAU teams.
* Provide recommendations on the approach to consolidate entitlements management across the department's hybrid environment.
* Analyze complex infrastructure issues and work with BAU teams to resolve them.
* Train/coach BAU staff in Azure System Administration.
* Coordinate infrastructure changes to support the future expansion of the IAM system.
To be successful in this role you should have:
* Extensive experience (5 years+) implementing outcomes using Entra ID (AAD) and AD.
* Extensive experience (5 years+) undertaking Azure Cloud infrastructure.
* Networking experience across on-prem and cloud-based software-defined networks.
* Strong personal qualities including well-developed communication skills, an ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team, sound prioritization, time management, and organizational skills. Must also have strong personal drive and commitment to delivering quality outcomes.
It is desirable if you have:
* Previous experience working on the Department's Employment and Workplace Relations IT systems or experience in a Government Agency is highly desired.
* Experience in designing/engineering IAM solutions.
Due to security clearance requirements for this role, candidates must be Australian citizens able to obtain Negative Vetting Level 1 security clearance.
