Peoplebank are currently recruiting for an Application Support Analyst (Microsoft tech stack) to work for our client, based in the Adelaide CBD (this is an onsite role).

Working as part of a talented internal IT team, this job will see you be the Applications (Systems) Support Specialist for a number of existing Applications, which support the wider business.

The applications are predominantly built using Microsoft technologies, so you must have a strong background in supporting IT Applications / Systems based on the Microsoft stack.

This is NOT a generalist IT helpdesk role, so specific and relevant experience is mandatory.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Providing administrator, development and maintenance services for business applications, databases, and websites, architected primarily on the Microsoft solution suite including (but not limited to) SQL Databases, .Net, SharePoint, Dynamics 365, Power Platform, PowerBI, development and maintenance of databases and the development of reports.
  • Contributing to the investigation and resolution of operational failure and data integrity issues, identifying system problems, highlighting implications and business impact, and providing potential solutions
  • Manage work queues for Incidents, Problems, Service Requests and Minor Enhancements
  • Assisting with the management of legacy applications and databases
  • Providing technical and operational support services, coordination, and prioritisation.
  • Developing and maintaining systems and process documentation

Skills and Experience

  • Demonstrated SQL skills including the ability to write and interpret SQL statements and packages with a clear knowledge of database environments.
  • Demonstrated experience working with C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core.
  • Experience in supporting Microsoft cloud technologies including SharePoint, Dynamics 365, Power Platform and working with SSRS and Power BI reporting tools will be an advantage.
  • Experience working in an Azure DevOps and Visual studio environment is desirable.
  • A demonstrated ability to analyse and solve problems.
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, including clear and accurate documentation skills.
