The Role
We are seeking a top notch lead developer to join our client's talented team, with strong full stack experience. The tech stack is Golang, Vue, Lambdas, AWS, Docker. You will be able to execute high quality code, design serverless architecture solutions and coach / guide team developers. You will be able to think big while also being able to focus on the detail to ensure they deliver and ship quality products.
You understand what quality, scalable and maintainable code really means and you can put this into practice. Working with a modern serverless tech stack is where you want to be Golang, Vue, Lambdas, AWS, Docker - so we are looking for someone who can continue to improve and scale our technical products. We want someone who is passionate about this tech stack. You might be expert with this tech already or you might want to step into working with this tech stack. Responsibilities
As a Lead Developer you will be responsible for: - Delivering features and enhancements to client's customer facing products - Working with a passionate, pragmatic, talented CTO who knows his code inside out. We have hired teams for this CIO over many years, he is a great leader and you will want to work with him! You will also work with a great team to design and build the application architecture - Being a champion of the agile process and practices - Working with the Product Owner to scope and size for our future roadmap - Establishing technical standards and ensure adherence across the team
Skills
- Passion for financial services, FinTech or Finance
- 8+ years' experience building complex web applications and architectures
- 3+ years' in a senior engineer lead position where you mentored developers
- 1+ year experience building webservices and RESTful APIs in Golang
- Experience with Single Page Apps (React, Angular, VueJS)
- Deep understanding of development best practises, patterns and principles
- Possess strong communication skills
- Bachelor degree in computer science (or equivalent)
