Work within a Close-Knit team
The Role
Our client is seeking to hire an experienced Senior Engineer with a strong background in software development, infrastructure, security and the integration of systems to join a close-Knit team.
Key Skills and Responsibilities
- Scope each solution engagement, with a focus on clear and well defined objectives and success criteria, and produce scalable solutions
- Evaluate and consult on new technology and the security solutions that reduce cyber risk and complexity as well as creating velocity for our business;
- Ensure appropriate cyber security controls and risk management plans are in place for BAU and project initiatives / tasks;
- Work closely with service and application owners to implement appropriate controls, as well as supporting the remediation of vulnerabilities, penetration tests, audits and incidents;
- Ownership and delivery of the technical engagement, with a focus on ensuring timely and successful delivery of value
- Capture and share best-practice knowledge with other architects and stakeholders
- Ensure key elements of any design is endorsed at the design authority/board and be a leading member of that entity and of the architecture practice
Experience
- Strong experience in Networking
- Experience in SCCM/MECM
- Experiecne with Firewall/UTM
- Uplifting projects, vulnerability management and cloud controls, design and management (e.g. Azure & AWS)
- Hands on experience delivering solution architecture and solution designs
- Solid skill in Application/System Lifecycle Management
- Experience in design, integration technologies and data modelling
- Experience with common modelling tools and frameworks
- A software development, engineering, infrastructure or security background
- System integration, API Management Design/ MuleSoft
- Web and mobile application development
- Infrastructure technologies that cover virtualisation and storage
- Strong understanding in Endpoint Protection or Email Security Gateway
- Microsoft Directory Services experience
