Our Telecom client is seeking to engage a Senior Communications Consultant to design and implement an accessible communications method to engage with Customers and stakeholders.

The primary duties of the role include:

  • Engage with Customer Connect leadership team, including Directors People Leaders, to understand our strategy, the what we do and why, and our achievements/challenges in order to establish the Customer Connect brand that is consistent with the company brand.
  • Partner with our corporate Communications business partners to ensure all communications and communication strategies are aligned with the Brand and strategy
  • Review current Customer Connect internal communications and metrics to consolidate and simplify how we report, on what and to whom, consistent with our Brand;
  • Prepare various communications and templates (utilising various formats e.g. Emails, PowerPoint, Yammer etc.) to communicate our story & support our leadership team to provide necessary updates and recognition of achievements, internally to our people, our stakeholders and our partners
  • Ensure communications and templates are built in a sustainable, simple and user-friendly manner that drives consistency of message and clarity for audience
  • Establish a mechanism by which we have consistency in content and one source of truth on our data (including metrics, program status & updates) that is easily accessible by the Customer Connect leadership team
  • Train and upskill our people (from Director Level down) on how to communicate simply and effectively to our audiences utilising appropriate format, depending on audience being targeted.
  • Build team member capability on how to use and amend established templates
  • Ensure all communications and templates are aligned to the company standards
  • Evaluate business needs that contribute to high quality business solutions that deliver significant business improvement and deliver tangible business outcomes.
  • Perform rigorous analysis to identify potential value creating opportunities, developing cohesive conclusions, and present key findings at the executive level
  • Accountable for multiple and complex work assignments, that deliver within timeframes, and provide guidance to the broader Customer Connect team
