Our CBD based client is a powerhouse for WA'S economy. They are looking for an experienced Scrum Master to work within a large project-based team, working specifically with one large program of work. Initially a 6-month contract, this role will have the opportunity to extend for the right candidate.
The role:
Working to support the program team, you will support and enhance the existing agile working practices.
Duties:
-Guiding and coaching the team including the Product Owner, delivering continuous improvement of their work through using agile principles, practices and techniques
-Recognising the strengths and improvement areas for the team, employing coaching and development techniques to enable and maintain a high performing team
-Continually monitoring & reporting progress of the team towards achieving sprint and increment goals, removing blockers
-Facilitate and support all agile ceremonies, including focusing Product Owner and team around Product Vision, helping develop Mission and Vision statements, Product Backlogs, Roadmaps and continuously enhancing an Agile Product Management practice
-Build positive and robust stakeholder relationships across all areas of the business
-Be an advocate for agile principles, practices and techniques within the business
Key skills
-Outstanding communication, facilitation, negotiation and coaching skills
-Experiences in working in self organising, diverse teams with shared outcomes
-Extensive experience in one of more agile frameworks as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach
-Experience in human centred design practices and techniques
-Certification as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach
-Excellent analytical and innovative thinking skills.
