Our client is seeking an experienced Resource Coordinator to join their deployment enablement and support team. The team is responsible for supporting Mobile Ran AND Fixed Transmission projects.

The role:

  • Review and track Purchase Order requests including closure for all Vendors;
  • Process Purchase Order requests in accordance with agreed policy;
  • Provide a Single point of contact for all Purchase order enquiries with vendors and internal teams;
  • Set up and meet with Vendors to review outstanding Purchase requests, identify and resolve disputed/duplicated requests;
  • Creation of WBS numbers for projects in SAP;
  • Resolve any issues with WBS numbers, does not exist, locked, blocked or funding exhausted;
  • Check SAP and MNIS system issues where WBS inconsistent and incorrect and resolve;
  1. Delivery milestone and Goods Receive Notice weekly and monthly updates;
  2. Identify and resolve Goods Receive Notice discrepancies;
  3. Process Goods Receive Notice in accordance with agreed policy;
  • Provide OT numbers for Telstra co-locations requests to vendors;
  • Review delivery monthly reports with PM's and produce GRN file and send to VMO email drop box;
  • Update national tracker of inbound/outbound Collocations;
  • Manage Collocation report using defined KPI's;
  • Collocation cost sharing are captured and reported, including invoicing to other party;
  • Cross charging of inbound/outbound collocation requests are completed and invoiced to other Telco/party;
  • Creation of Site codes for new site releases;
  • Manage Tracker of SOW Vendor System Access requests to internal company systems and Security Access Passes;
  • System Access requests made by SOW vendors via email drop box comply to system access role profiles;
  • System access requests are approved by Platform owners prior to granting access;
  • UAM process to be followed for all internal company systems access requests;
  • Manage SOW Vendor renewals by ensuring they are still employed and are undertaking same role that requires access to company systems;
  • Ensure SOW Vendors no longer employed are terminated in system and system access removed and security passes returned;
  • Manage desk top locations and computers for SOW Vendors located on company premises including return and reallocation of computer assets;
  • Manage Tracker and allocate security pink keys issues to Vendors.
  • Manage Tracker and allocate mobile test SIM issued to Vendors.
  • Manage Tracker and allocate Repeater test SIM issued to Vendors.
  • Ensure any SOW Vendor company assets are returned when no longer required or resigned;
  • SOW Vendor assigned to internal systems have completed all Mandatory Training by due dates;
  • Complete all Compulsory Training by due dates;

The candidate:

  • Practical knowledge of a relevant project management and delivery methodologies
  • Thorough understanding of the complete project management lifecycle
  • Technical knowledge of mobile RAN, CORE and Transmission related infrastructure and networks concepts
  • Ability to converse confidently with both end-users and IT employees at all levels of the organisation.
  • Experience in managing a cross-functional team from various business areas
  • Experience in communicating including presentations to senior management
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, in dealing with staff and various multi-discipline groups and teams
  • Demonstrate a willingness to take ownership of project solutions
  • Organisational Awareness: Understanding of the decision-making structure and cultural constraints within the organisation and capacity to influencing management at all levels
  • Work well under pressure and to tight deadlines

Desired experience:

  • Happy to work heavily with purchae orders
  • Extensive (Typically 5+ years) delivering Mobile, or Telco related engineering projects
  • Experience in the lifecycle management across initiation and planning, design and execution of projects
  • Experience in a large organisation in working with program, engineer, project and financial teams
  • Experience in managing technical projects
  • Tertiary qualifications complete or nearing completion
  • PMI certification, Prince II and PMBOK or related discipline
