Our client has a large presence within the Education Sector, they are currently seeking a Lead Application Support and Maintenance Specialist - Peoplesoft to join their team
The role:
The client is seeking an experienced Senior Application specialist who can provide ongoing support, ensuring improvement maintenance for the ICT Application with a primary focus on supporting and maintaining financial applications.
Responsibilities:
- The main focus will be on managing Peoplesoft's day-to-day support and maintenance, as well as providing analysis and insight into continuous improvement to increase effectiveness and efficiency.
- Queue management: keep track of events and requests in the support queue and take appropriate action. For clarifications on requests and incidents, communicate with all levels of management. As needed, escalate concerns in accordance with business requirements.
- Conduct a variety of system administration tasks on business platforms, including but not limited to - PeopleSoft Financials is an example of a financial system (FSCM), Gift administration, Hyperion budge, Xetta Payment Gateway, DirectLink & ServiceNow Incident and Change Management
- Conduct research, assess, and provide strategic advice, analysis, and direction on applications and the technology that supports them.
- Assess new Peoplesoft versions and upgrades to assess functionality requirements and perform the necessary change management.
Skills & Experience:
- Demonstrated experience in effective and successful stakeholder management in a complex multi-layered environment
- Ability to work on multiple projects and activities according to agreed schedules, timelines, and deliverables with minimal supervision and to prepare progress reports
- Extensive experience with Oracle database and very good knowledge of SQL
- Demonstrated experience in effective and successful stakeholder management in a complex multi-layered environment
