A DevOps Engineer is needed on a permanent basis to work for a fin-tech style company who have one of Australia's biggest banking organisations backing them. They operate like a start-up so you get the best of both worlds; work place benefits like stability along with excitement and creativity.
As part of the small Digital team, you will ensure that the technical infrastructure is designed, setup and maintained to enable everything to run smoothly… oh, and there is some coding too. This is a great opportunity to be mentored by a DevOps expert.
So what will you do day to day:
- Develop and advance the teams DevOps capability;
- Create innovative solutions to business problems and technical issues;
- Create clear and concise technical documentation on DevOps patterns;
- Design, code, test and install applications programs using either Java, Javascript, Objective C or Python that are high quality, re-usable and scalable.
- Develop and maintain deployment pipelines using tools such as Jenkins and Ansible.
You will have a strong interest in working as a DevOps SME; looking to develop skills in cloud asset management on AWS and IBM and CI/CD on Jenkins. You will be passionate about your work, speak strongly about your ideas and posess strong porblem solving skills.
We're after someone who's ready to jump right in and help to and shape the Digital and Technology teams DevOps capability.
