We are looking for a Senior Infrastructure Designer for an initial 6 months contract.
Location: North Ryde
For this position, we are looking for teh following skills and experience:
- ICT professional with 8-10 years of extensive experience in a corporate IT environment, including at least 5 years at Infrastructure Solution Design or Infrastructure Architecture level.
- Knowledge of Security controls.
- In-depth knowledge (5+ years) of the following:
o Virtualisation: Microsoft Hyper-V and VMWare
o OS: RedHat Linux, Windows Server
o Database: Microsoft SQL, Oracle Exadata
o Network Architecture: Checkpoint, Bluecoat, Netscaler, WAN, Load Balancing, high latency remote site networks
o Storage and Backup Systems
o Security: architecture and controls
o Cloud: Solid cloud understanding and exposure and the ability to articulate the benefits to key stakeholders
o Other: End User Computing and Mobility solutions
