Cyber Security Analyst

Peoplebank are currently recruiting for Cyber Security Analyst to work for a Defence organisation growing at a rapid pace with exciting projects due to kick off soon. If you are seeking an opportunity to break into Defence, an industry which will be very prominent in the South Australian market, then this contract role may be a great opportunity to get your foot in the door. Australian Citizenship is a minimum requirement for this role, due to security clearances which may be required.
As part of your role you will be responsible for assisting in the day to day administration of network security infrastructure including protection systems, security event correlation systems email gateways, firewalls and VPN appliances. You will assist in design and operational management of aspects of ICT Security Systems and associated infrastructures within the business environment to protect computer systems from unauthorised access.
Skills and Qualifications required:
- Qualification from an accredited tertiary institution in a related discipline, or equivalent experience / combined education, including extensive professional experience.
- Currently be an Australian Citizen (Security Clearance is ideal, but not at all essential)
- Prior experience in information security across a broad range of information security skills and technologies
- Desirable would be certifications in Cyber Security - CEH, CISSP, CISM or CISA Certification although not essential
