About the role:
- Our client in the state government/ public sector is looking for a dynamic, adaptable team player who can meet tight social media deadlines.
- This role is social media focussed and the candidate will work alongside one other for the social media team within the Media team of 10.
- Role reports to social media team and report to a manager.

Communications Officer (Social Media Focus)
6 months rolling contract
Near Sydney Central Station
In person interview only in sydney
Full time, 40 hours per week
Key Requirement:
- Previous experience with social media content creation and monitoring.
- Experience in using Iphone's for video and photos essential
- A minimum of 5 years' experience (as a guide) in similar field required
- Government experience advantageous, but not essential.
- Tertiary qualifications within similar field beneficial
Other Skills:
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal are essential for this role
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Performs a variety of tasks.
- A certain degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
