Experienced Cognos Administrator required for an initial 3 month contract for a market leading consultancy organisation!
Your New Role
- Design, develop, implement and deploy Cognos Active report & Rave based dashboards
- Design, develop, implement and deploy workspace advanced and workspace based dashboard solutions.
- Develop, implement and deploy Cognos reporting solution utilizing Cognos Framework Manage
- Develop advanced professional reports using Report studio with bursting capabilities, master-detail reports, multi-page and multi-query reports, drill-through reports etc. against relational and OLAP data sources using MDX queries and functions
- Maintain quality control, document technical specs and unit testing to ensure accuracy and quality of BI data
- Troubleshoot and diagnose data models and reports for any data issues using Cognos and other SQL development
You Bring to the Role
- Experience in installation and configuration of Cognos services in complex environment.
- Experience in optimization of performance of Cognos environment.
- Experience in migration of security from one environment to other.
- Experience in migration / upgrade from earlier version of Cognos to latest version (from Cognos 8/10 to Cognos Analytics 11)
- Experience Cognos Analytics 11
