Our client has a large presence in the retail industry, seeking a Cloud Security Analyst - Azure to join their team for an initial 6-month contract.
The Cloud Security Analyst will collaborate with Cloud & Security Engineers and Business Analysts, with the primary focus on Cloud Security across all of Cloud Engineering's products and services. As a Cloud Security Analyst, you'll need to be knowledgeable about cloud security and have coding experience
About the role
- Assist in the development of secure cloud solutions, ensuring that all security criteria are satisfied.
- To identify, and investigate security breaches, and keep an eye on networks and computer systems.
- Monitor and report on the current condition of cloud controls and any changes throughout the cloud fleet.
- Perform penetration testing to guarantee that Cloud products and services are free of flaws that might be exploited by malware developers.
- Consider and apply security engineering concepts throughout the cloud, including SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, and XaaS
About you
- Demonstrated experience with fully automated Infrastructure-as-Code deployments using Terraform and CICD tooling, such as Azure DevOps.
- Knowledge of enterprise networking and cloud-native network devices and functions is a plus.
- Experience deploying cloud controls such as Azure Policies, Conditional Access Policies, and Privileged Identity Management, as well as analysing and identifying threats to cloud systems, developing new features to meet security needs, and developing, maintaining, upgrading, and continuously improving cloud-based systems
- Strong knowledge of cloud-based environments, especially Microsoft Azure.
- Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, and others is preferred
