Our client a large NSW Government Department is looking for a strong Backend Developer to assist with the ramp up of this large digital product roll-out. Agile methodology will be required to work in this high-speed rapid delivery environment. Your key objective will be to provide technical back-end design and development for multiple online applications. You will also contribute to planning, system documentation and reporting.
Skills and experience:
- Node.js
- Elasticsearch development using Node.js
- REST API development using Node.js
- Docker (creating images / containers and deploying to cloud platforms)
- Kubernetes
- GIT to manage source code repositories
- Experience with cloud platforms (MS Azure viewed favourably)
- Hands on experience with Node.js frameworks and microservices architecture and RESTful web services
- End to End API delivery

- MS Azure Blob Storage
- .Net C#
- MongoDB
- Azure DevOps
- Vue.js
- Atlassian Jira tool
