About the Company:

Our client is a wealth management and superannuation organization. They are looking for an Agile Delivery Scrum Master to join their Digital Team.

About the role:

This is a permanent opportunity.

The Scrum Master will report to the Digital Delivery Lead.

Our client is open to interviewing candidates either from Melbourne or Sydney.

Responsibilities:

  • Take the lead and drive digital delivery for the project (planning and execution)
  • Help drive process and mindset improvements to enable agile delivery
  • Run relevant ceremonies to support delivery and iteration planning
  • Active and proactive work to resolve blockers, manage backlog, improve flow, etc.
  • Support technology processes to enable delivery such as release management & approvals
  • Coach the team on best practice of Agile mindset and methodology with a lens of continuous improvement and quality uplift
  • Unify product squad across business and technology areas
  • Support Digital reporting for project working groups and/or Steer Co as needed
  • Always take reasonable care for the health and safety of yourself and others in the workplace


Skills and experience:

  • Deep background as a fully-fledged Scrum Master in cross-functional teams
  • Superannuation/Wealth management/financial services knowledge
  • Working knowledge of digital platforms
  • SCRUM certifications
  • Solid understanding of software development life cycle models
  • Expert knowledge of both Agile project management principles, practices, and ceremonies
  • Experience overseeing project/ delivery teams including Developers, Business Analysts, Architects, and stakeholders in the SCRUM methodology
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Strong communication both verbal and written with the ability to interpret customer business needs and translate into application and operational requirements
  • Coaching in agile ways of working and team culture
