Our client is a wealth management and superannuation organization. They are looking for an Agile Delivery Scrum Master to join their Digital Team.
About the role:
This is a permanent opportunity.
The Scrum Master will report to the Digital Delivery Lead.
Our client is open to interviewing candidates either from Melbourne or Sydney.
Responsibilities:
- Take the lead and drive digital delivery for the project (planning and execution)
- Help drive process and mindset improvements to enable agile delivery
- Run relevant ceremonies to support delivery and iteration planning
- Active and proactive work to resolve blockers, manage backlog, improve flow, etc.
- Support technology processes to enable delivery such as release management & approvals
- Coach the team on best practice of Agile mindset and methodology with a lens of continuous improvement and quality uplift
- Unify product squad across business and technology areas
- Support Digital reporting for project working groups and/or Steer Co as needed
- Always take reasonable care for the health and safety of yourself and others in the workplace
Skills and experience:
- Deep background as a fully-fledged Scrum Master in cross-functional teams
- Superannuation/Wealth management/financial services knowledge
- Working knowledge of digital platforms
- SCRUM certifications
- Solid understanding of software development life cycle models
- Expert knowledge of both Agile project management principles, practices, and ceremonies
- Experience overseeing project/ delivery teams including Developers, Business Analysts, Architects, and stakeholders in the SCRUM methodology
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Strong communication both verbal and written with the ability to interpret customer business needs and translate into application and operational requirements
- Coaching in agile ways of working and team culture
