This is a unique opportunity to work on a highly complex environment, contributing to the verification and validation of critical infrastructure systems.
Duration: 6 month initial contract + view to extend long term (LOTS of work going on)
Location: CBD (3 days per week in the office)
The Opportunity You’ll work closely with the V&V Manager and broader engineering team to deliver end-to-end verification and validation across a complex, integrated network environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Develop system-level test plans, procedures, and documentation
- Execute and oversee system test activities
- Support verification of integrated systems and test environments
- Identify risks, issues, and improvement opportunities
- Work closely with System Engineering, QA, and Configuration teams
- Support and maintain controlled test environments
- Coordinate testing across subsystems and vendors
- Australian Citizen (must be eligible for NV1 security clearance)
- Experience in Verification & Validation (system, network, or integration testing)
- Background working across complex, enterprise or mission-critical environments
- Strong understanding of SDLC and testing methodologies
- Experience with large networked systems
- Experience working in government or highly regulated environments
- Experience with VoIP, radios, or telephony systems
- Automated testing experience
- Jira or similar tools
