The position is ideal for a senior-level professional with extensive expertise in managing complex Kubernetes environments within enterprise settings.

As the selected candidate, you will:
  • Deliver and administer functional Kubernetes solutions, ensuring they are secure, resilient, and cost-effective.

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design, implement, and optimise Kubernetes architectures.

  • Monitor solutions continuously, ensuring high availability, security, and compliance, including regular patching and security hardening.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation and follow best practices to improve system performance and security.

To be successful in this role, you should have:
  • At least 5 years’ experience managing and delivering enterprise Kubernetes solutions, especially in hybrid cloud environments.
  • Proven ability to deploy, automate, secure, update, migrate, and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters.
  • Experience establishing scalable Kubernetes distributions and integrating them into infrastructure automation pipelines.

  • In-depth knowledge of security practices related to containerisation, including network policies, admission controls, and container image security.
  • Solid troubleshooting skills that span operating systems, networking, storage, and application layers.
It is desirable if you have:
  • Relevant Kubernetes certifications.
  • Experience with container technologies such as kubeadm, K3s, or Rancher.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools like Grafana and Prometheus.
