About the role:
Join our government client as the SAP Data Migration Lead for Finance and play a pivotal role in transforming our financial systems architecture.
This high-impact position offers the opportunity to lead end-to-end data migration initiatives from SAP ECC6 to S/4HANA Public Cloud, ensuring seamless, accurate, and compliant data transfers.
You will be working in a Finance Modernisation Program, collaborating with cross-functional teams and external partners to deliver innovative digital solutions.
Required Skills:
- Expertise in finance functional areas including GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, and Purchasing/GR-IR processes in SAP ECC and S/4HANA Public Cloud
- Proven experience leading end-to-end SAP data migration projects, preferably with S/4HANA Migration Cockpit
- Strong knowledge of finance data mapping, transformation, and reconciliation techniques
- Ability to develop and govern migration strategies, plans, and schedules
- Skilled in data profiling, cleansing, and remediation, with a focus on data quality and integrity
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, capable of mobilizing agency data owners and managing governance forums
- Strong controls mindset with experience producing audit-ready documentation and evidence packs
- Experience managing complex migration phases including trial, mock, and cutover activities
