Project Manager – Facilities & security Audit
  • Richmond, 3 days in office
  • 6 month contract with view to extend (open position within project that has funding until 2028)
A high‑profile program is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a national uplift of security, cash‑handling controls, and technology infrastructure across a large retail network. This role operates in a risk‑sensitive environment and requires exceptional organisation, stakeholder influence, and the ability to bring structure to ambiguity.
 
The Opportunity
Lead a fast‑moving program spanning security audits, property upgrades, network uplifts, and a new technology pilot. You’ll work across corporate sites, licensed sites, operations, property, technical teams, and cash‑transport providers to deliver essential security and compliance improvements.
 
What You’ll Deliver
  • Manage a national compliance audit across hundreds of retail locations.
  • Oversee physical security upgrades and site‑level remediation activities.
  • Coordinate network uplift requirements with IT and engineering teams.
  • Lead a technology pilot rollout, track performance, and prepare for scale‑
  • Manage cash‑transport and operational impacts, ensuring safe, efficient processes.
 
What You Bring
  • Strong stakeholder management and diplomacy in compliance‑heavy, high‑risk environments.
  • Experience delivering multi‑site, property, or operational projects.
  • Ability to translate complex technical or audit findings into clear delivery plans.
  • Comfortable operating between business, property, and technology teams.
  • Highly organised, structured, and able to drive outcomes through ambiguity.
 
Ideal Background (Not Essential)
  • Experience in retail operations, security upgrades, WHS, or compliance projects
  • Multi‑site program delivery
  • Exposure to network or technology‑based rollouts
