An experienced Senior Procurement Manager is required for a short-term contract to support a critical program of work focused on offshoring and outsourcing initiatives. This role will lead contract reviews and vendor negotiations to deliver strong commercial outcomes, particularly across third-party service providers and offshore delivery models.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who can quickly assess existing agreements, identify risks and opportunities, and confidently engage suppliers to optimise value in an outsourcing context.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of a large-scale offshoring and outsourcing program, working closely with project and business stakeholders
- Lead procurement activities aligned to the offshoring strategy, including vendor identification, evaluation, and onboarding
- Review and refine existing contracts to ensure suitability for offshore delivery models and identify required changes
- Drive commercial negotiations with offshore vendors and managed service providers to achieve optimal cost and service outcomes
- Provide procurement input into operating model design, including vendor structures, governance, and service arrangements
- Partner with internal stakeholders (technology, operations, legal) to ensure alignment between procurement and program objectives
- Support transition planning from onshore to offshore providers, including risk identification and mitigation
- Ensure all procurement activities align with organisational policies, risk frameworks, and outsourcing best practices
- Deliver clear documentation, recommendations, and commercial insights to support key project decisions
Key Requirements
- Maximum 2 week notice period, immediately available is highly desirable
- Proven experience as a Senior Procurement Manager or similar role within complex organisations
- Strong track record in contract review, negotiation, and commercial optimisation, ideally within outsourcing/offshoring environments
- Experience managing or procuring third-party services, including offshore vendors or managed service providers
- Ability to quickly understand existing supplier landscapes and identify improvement opportunities
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Comfortable operating in fast-paced environments with ambiguous requirements
- Strong attention to detail with a pragmatic, outcome-focused approach
