About the Role:
Our Federal Government Client is seeking a Senior ICT Project Manager (Enterprise Platforms / ESM).
This is a long-term contract role until 30 June 2027
with 1 x 6-month extension option, located at our client’s ACT location with hybrid working arrangements.
As the selected candidate, you will:
• Lead end-to-end delivery of an Enterprise Service Management (ESM)
platform implementation
• Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and delivery performance within a multi-supplier environment
• Plan, schedule, and oversee project scope, budget, risks, and resources
• Translate business requirements into structured project plans and deliverables
• Drive project governance, reporting, and compliance with ICT standards
• Engage and influence stakeholders across business and technical teams
• Lead multidisciplinary project teams and mentor junior staff
• Support agile/iterative delivery practices and continuous improvement
To be successful in this role you should have:
• Demonstrated experience in ICT project/program management, including agile methodologies
• Proven ability to provide strategic advice to senior stakeholders and lead complex projects
• Strong experience planning and delivering ICT change initiatives aligned to business strategy
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Experience mentoring and supporting junior team members
• Relevant qualifications or demonstrated experience in project/program/portfolio management
It is desirable if you have:
• Experience delivering Enterprise Service Management (ESM) or enterprise platform solutions
• Strong vendor and contract management experience
• Familiarity with Australian Government ICT frameworks and governance processes
Due to security clearance requirements for this role, candidates must be Australian citizens
with Baseline security clearance (or the ability to obtain one).
