We are seeking an Azure DevOps Engineer (BICEP)
to support the company’s Azure estate, including Infrastructure, Power Platform, Integration Services, and Data & Analytics, taking a people, process, and technology approach to solve business challenges. The role will focus on a lift-and-shift migration from on-premises to Azure landing zones, managing code improvements, and reviewing and approving changes across the environments.
Responsibilities:
• Deploy, configure, and manage Azure services including virtual machines, networks, storage, and related infrastructure components.
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, including the development and enhancement of BICEP modules and IaC templates for the Azure Landing Zone framework.
• Ensure Azure environments meet strict security and compliance standards while setting up monitoring solutions to proactively detect, troubleshoot, and resolve performance and availability issues.
• Support migration initiatives into the Azure Enterprise Scale Landing Zone Framework, including on-premises and legacy workload transitions, while continuously assessing opportunities to optimize resources, control costs, and improve efficiency.
• Produce detailed technical documentation and deliver training to internal teams and partners on Azure best practices, solution design, and operational procedures.
Skills and Experience:
• 5-8+ years proven Azure DevOps Engineer relevant experience
• Minimum 3 years’ experience developing Azure automation solutions using BICEP (Infrastructure as Code)
• Solid Azure infrastructure support, and administration
• Working with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 in a hybrid cloud environment
• Knowledgeable of Security Best practices
