The contingent labour market remained soft over the quarter, largely reflecting the end-of-financial-year period for many of our clients, where hiring activity typically slows as budgets are finalised and new financial year headcount plans take shape.
Within that broader softness, we've seen a clear uptick in Risk and Compliance roles, consistent with the wider market trend of clients ramping up risk-related initiatives, driven in part by ongoing regulatory focus (CPS 230, CPG 234, SPS 515) and heightened scrutiny of operational resilience and financial crime obligations across the sector.
Demand for Project Managers and Business Analysts has also held steady, signalling that programs of work are continuing within our client base, albeit at a smaller scale than in previous quarters.
