Our client is looking for a Technical Operations Manager to work on a large Global transformation program that will involve  new cloud platforms (AWS & Azure) and a new data platform (Azure).  The ideal candidate will be someone with a strong operations background, who has worked in complex environment and that has ideally had to deliver globally.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Leads and coordinates the deployment of assets into the technical  landscape.
• Setup operations in terms of SLA’s KPI”s, Change and Configuration management.
• Technical alignment on tools for  Cloud , Application assets
• Integrating new assets into  technical landscape including new ways of working /operating .
• Alignment and handover with  operations including ensuring L1 – 3 teams are in place and skilled to support post deployment

 
Essential Skills and Experience:
 

• Previous experience as a Technical Operations Manager (Applications)
• Must have worked in a Cloud Operations environment ideally AWS /Azure .
• Must have run an enterprise operation and be familiar with all aspects of IT run and Incident/Small change management .
• Understands Service Management and can support the setup of services including any Risk, Cyber and DR/BCP related activities.
• Strong stakeholder management skills
