We are currently recruiting for an Entry-Level Support Storage Engineer to work within a dynamic team environment in a large Professional Services Company.
The Entry-Level Support Storage Engineer will play a vital role in establishing and managing our storage infrastructure. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the implementation, administration, and maintenance of storage systems, ensuring their optimal performance and availability.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Assist in formulating and submitting requests for information related to the implementation and operation of existing storage platforms.
- Review available documentation and participate in workshops to understand existing storage systems, preparing for the transition to storage operations.
- Develop and maintain storage operations documentation, such as System Understanding Documents and Standard Operating Procedures, in preparation for the service go-live.
- Demonstrate readiness for service go-live in accordance with the established service plan and schedule.
- Perform ongoing storage operations and administration tasks, including monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure the health and performance of storage systems.
Please Note: This is an entry-level role (not an intermediate role) with the opportunity for hands-on learning and growth. The compensation for this position is circa $500 per day inclusive.
