As the selected candidate, you will:
- Manage website administration by liaising with external service providers, implementing enhancements, conducting testing, and ensuring smooth backend operations.
- Maintain and update key data files that underpin the portal, ensuring accuracy, quality, and IATI compliance.
- Support data quality, transparency, and governance improvements, contributing to better management, publication, and use of international development information.
- Translate business needs into practical technical solutions, enhancing website functionality and data visualisation.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders, troubleshooting issues and delivering fit-for-purpose solutions.
- Assist with routine website maintenance, content edits, analytics reviews, and managing risks affecting the portal’s performance.
- NV1 security clearance or higher.
- Strong advanced Excel skills, including formulas, data validation, pivot tables, and data integration.
- Experience managing web platforms or supporting content management systems such as GovCMS or WordPress.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated problem-solving ability, with a solutions-focused approach and a keen eye for continuous improvement.
- Experience with data visualisation or reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced environment.
- An understanding of Agile delivery methodologies and website development.
- Familiarity with issue management systems like Jira or Azure DevOps.
- Knowledge of XML, HTML, or capacity to learn these technologies.
- Understanding of IATI data standards or international development policy.
- Skills in preparing guidance materials, user documentation, or delivering internal training.
