About the Role:
We’re seeking a UI/UX Design Lead to design and help build the front-end experience for a governed Azure-based application and data platform connecting operational technology, IoT, enterprise and geospatial systems. You’ll turn complex operational needs into clear, role-based user experiences using modern web patterns and reusable components.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the UX and front-end interaction model
- Create user journeys, wireframes, prototypes, components and design patterns
- Design dashboards, map-based views, workflows, forms, alerts, timelines and operational screens
- Work closely with stakeholders and engineers to deliver buildable, high-quality UI
- Ensure solutions are accessible, responsive, consistent and suitable for operational use
- Strong UI/UX for web-based applications
- Experience with Angular or React
- Experience designing operational views (dashboards, maps, workflows, alerts, timelines, status/status indicators)
- Experience with modern CSS/component frameworks (e.g., Tailwind, Angular Material, Bootstrap or equivalent)
- Experience creating wireframes, prototypes, reusable components, and design systems
- Solid understanding of responsive design, accessibility, usability, and front-end implementation constraint
