Software Engineer – Leading Software Company
URGENT Initial 4.5-month Contract opportunity (with chance to extend)
Open to candidates based on Australian East Coast (including Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra, etc.)
$700-$800 including Super Daily rate
We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer (Full Stack)
to design, build, and maintain scalable full-stack applications, delivering high-quality backend services, modern frontend experiences, and secure system integrations. You will collaborate with a cross-functional team to develop robust, well-tested solutions, contribute to technical design decisions, and support the successful delivery and ongoing evolution of enterprise applications.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and implement scalable backend services, data models, and internal APIs to support complex business workflows.
• Develop responsive frontend features, integrating authentication, external services, and business rules for validation, permissions, and notifications.
• Build reporting capabilities, dashboards, and comprehensive automated test coverage across unit, integration, and end-to-end levels.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams on solution design, implementation, code reviews, documentation, and production rollout.
Key Requirements
• 2-7 years of Full Stack Software Engineer experience
• Strong experience in Java, Kotlin, ReactJS and AWS
• Experience with Spring Boot (or a similar JVM framework) for backend API development
• Relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MS SQL, etc.) and database schema migrations
• Experience with secure authentication and access management using Okta (SSO, OAuth, and OIDC)
• Experience working in a large enterprise tech or SaaS company
